1. Authority to make purchase and pay the fee:

You represent that you have the full authority to make business decisions on behalf of your sober living home and/or the ownership entity engaging in the transaction with Rees Networks to be included in the Rees Networks Sober Living Halfway House Search website for one full year. If you are purchasing inclusion in the search service database within the current "Early Inclusion Discount" period (that is before the Google Page 1 announcement date, when you will be notified by email or phone that SoberLivingSearch.com has reached page 1 of Google, anticipated to occur in late November, 2010¹) the amount you will be billed for is $189.00. After the site has reached Google Page 1 we have the right to increase prices, though as of your reading this notice today, we have no current plans of raising said price.

2. Service Agreement Timing:

The one-year service agreement clock you are entitled to will not begin until we have made our announcement that we are a Google Page 1 site¹. Soberlivingsearch.com is on dedicated servers for our own private use, and we are committed to reaching a goal at the time we open for public use of having populated the database with at least 1000 homes in the state of California.. Thereafter we shall open the site to the public on a state by state basis where that state shall be deemed by us to have thorough coverage to the degree we can provide it. Post launch, you will also have the ability to add additional houses at the same discounted rate under your account registration. Accounts will be identified by house name, and the starting date of service will appear by that account. Upon the Google page 1 declaration the starting date will be changed to that later day.

3. Our Goal and Our Commitment is Your Benefit:

Our goal is simple and we will not yield until we have achieved it. Our unwavering commitment is driven because we believe that one of the most important steps in successful recovery -- sober living and halfway houses -- have been largely overlooked. This step remains an unregulated, nebulous part of the process. Soberlivingsearch.com forces management of these homes to make a statement about how they run a house. This simple step, in turn, makes them able to be held accountable for something – perhaps a first for many houses. This is an initial step towards raising the overall standards and perceptions of recovery housing. Most importantly, however, is that our easy search and its informative, visual results promote the notion that prospective guest and manager can have a successful meeting. It is our sincere hope that we can contribute to improving the efficiencies, the ease, and the positive decision to use living in a recovery home as a means of strengthening one’s recovery plan.

4. Additional Services provided for Owner/Managers:

What is the value of a service if you have no idea whether people are using it or not? As is explained in detail on the site, we will be adding site analytics in the first months of operation to track your traffic, how much time people spent on your site, whether they forwarded the page to any third party, click through to your website if you have one and more. We hope to surprise you with a number of additional free perks along the way in our quest for Rees Networks becoming the best specialized provider of search services and resource portals in the field of Recovery.

5. Site Changes/Edits:

We will allow all homes the ability to edit their pages as many times as they wish for year 1 with no fees. In year 2, it then may cost $5 - $10 per edit session, depending on the number of edits we experience in year 1. Every edit must be thoroughly reviewed by a human being and we will have to see how much time that requires before making any decisions. Edits are at your discretion but accounts may NOT be entirely altered to reflect another home. If an owner were to close one home before his year of service concluded, for example, he or she would de-activate the closed home and (presumably) open a new account for a new home and pay the going rate at that time. We remain at liberty to offer discounts from time to time as we see fit. Anybody who takes advantage of our free editing rules and adds or changes houses risks being asked to leave the site.

6. The sober living STARR network:

In October we will be implementing the STARR network, which is an acronym for Sobriety, Trust And Recovery Reputation. You will have to acknowledge "YES" to a letter which will basically state that you pledge to act in your guests' best interests on a best efforts basis. We will have the duty to consider changing your STARR status or even removing you from the site if dangerous behavior per below is confirmed by local authorities, treatment centers, or non-guest authorities. We will hold you to STARR and in return you can proudly display the STARR logo showing you have made a public pledge to run your house on a best efforts basis, and we will have a general provision per below that we will include in the terms:

It is clearly understood by you that Rees Networks has full authority based on its own judgment per terms below to remove a house from the site and owe no prorated fees back to that house if:

We are fully aware of the size and scope complaints can take on and how many arise from personality conflict or unhappy guests simply venting. We are talking here about managers dealing drugs or encouraging drinking, managers having sex with guests - very serious, would-be criminal behavior in our eyes (and not based on a single report). Our reason for not returning fees is we never want to be accused of keeping somebody on the list just so we could continue taking a fee from them. We don't anticipate having to remove any houses, but with a database nearing 10,000 homes we are not sure what could happen - and we must bear some responsibility for attempting to alert our users if a home goes "off the charts" in terms of dangerous behavior.

7. Your Financial Information:

Neither Rees Networks, nor the Soberlivingsearch.com site, nor any individual employee or agent of the service side of this business ever has access to or even sees specific transactions done through PayPal. Technically and in reality PayPal is an independent company respected as one of the safest vendor card processor services in the world. Our company is notified that our client’s payment was processed either successfully or not, and we take it from there.
